Welcome to the East Down Parish website, providing you with information about the village of East Down in Devon, England and the activities of the Parish Council.

In Devon, there are three tiers of local government.  The Parish Council is the tier of Local Government closest to the people, the next tier of Government for East Down being the North Devon District Council with the top tier being Devon County Council.

On our website we provide you with the following:

• General information on the area including a footpaths map and also a list of local attractions.
• An outline of the role and services provided by the Parish Council along with the details of our councillors.

• Our contact list which provides information to enable you to contact us but also includes contact information for other local government services providers.
